EHR Trainer
|
Intellicure, the Houston area’s fastest growing healthcare technology company,
needs more energetic, happy people on our team! This year we have already won
both the 2011 Aggie 100 and the 2011 Houston Fast Tech 50; to fuel our continued
growth, we are looking for new Implementation Specialists. You are our company's
first impression beyond the sales process and is critical to successfully getting
a client off the ground and using the Intellicure EHR. This position is responsible
for the training and implementation of the EHR in our client hospital based clinics
and other healthcare providers, based on the specific workflow of Point of Service
Care. If you are an educator with clinical or IT experience and like to travel,
this is the job for you.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Providing end user training to clinical users of EMR system
- Preparing the learning environment and resources
- Provide post-installation support on issues such as troubleshooting workflow problems, refresher training, and IT technical or content support
- Work together with implementation team to ensure that hand-offs are efficient and timely
- Updating and maintaining systems manuals and end user documentation used for training
- Maintain consistent contact with management and be conscientious towards organizational needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Available to travel, approximately 50-75% of the time
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Superior customer relationship skills
- Technical Computer skill set or aptitude
- Ability to work with all levels of healthcare customer organizations
- Highly motivated and organized
- Searching for a career, not a job

EXTRA CREDIT
- Knowledge of clinical environments a definite plus:
- Clinical workflows
- Clinical IT systems
- Familiar with clinical business processes:
- Registration
- Scheduling
- Billing

- Encounter notes
- Prescriptions
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- One or more years experience in a software training, software implementation, or
healthcare education role preferred
- One or more years experience in a customer service role preferred
- Experience with EMR related software or training preferred
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $40,000 – 45,000; varies with experience
