Intellicure EHR Certification |
Intellicure, a leading clinical software provider, announced today that it has
achieved Complete EHR ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Certification for Intellicure EHR™,
Version 5.1 by the Drummond Group, in accordance with the applicable eligible
provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human
Services. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures
required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
“Intellicure EHR provides wound care centers with an affordable, powerful and integrated
solution to improve patient outcomes, reduce medical errors and increase productivity at
the point of clinical care. Combining powerful order entry capabilities with intuitive and
intelligent clinical documentation, Intellicure EHR incorporates comprehensive patient results,
clinical information and decision support into one powerful user interface,” explained
David Walker, CEO of Intellicure. “We have worked diligently for this certification
and are excited to be able to provide our customers with a complete solution to meet their
meaningful use needs.”
Drummond Group's ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that EHRs
meet the meaningful use criteria for eligible providers. Healthcare providers using
Intellicure EHR are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful
use of the technology - a key component of the federal government's push to improve clinical
care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.
Our complete measures set reporting capability, registry service and full service electronic
prescribing ensures that our providers can meet HITECH ‘meaningful use’ criteria
and thus qualify for incentive funds under ARRA. By incorporating “best practice
guidelines into the EHR, our providers can meet federal requirements while they improve
wound care in their communities,” says Dr. Caroline Fife, Chief Medical Officer of
Intellicure.
This Complete EHR is 2011/2012 compliant and has been certified by Drummond Group, an
ONC-ATCB approved to certify any complete or modular EHR both ambulatory and inpatient,
in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health
and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
