United Health-owned Change Healthcare has confirmed the ransomware group “ALPHV/Blackcat” is behind its cyberattack- a problem that began on Feb 19th 2024. Change Healthcare is the biggest clearinghouse for medical claims. The impact of this cyberattack is not limited to pharmacies and hospitals. Individual physician practices have confirmed that it is affecting them. If your practice uses this clearing house, it will appear that your claims have gone through, but they may not have.
