Due to Medicare claims data delays, 2024 Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) final scores will be delayed until the fall, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The agency will open the target review period upon releasing scores. Physician payment adjustments will be announced about a month after, and the review period will close 30 days after the payment announcement.
